Megan Thee Stallion Wore Not One But Two Anime-Inspired Hairstyles in Tokyo — See the Photos

Megan Thee Stallion loves anime, full stop. Not only does she pay homage to her favorite series and characters with her beauty looks, including wearing an ode to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure on her nails, shouting out Deku from My Hero Academia with a green wig, and transforming into Jujustu Kaisen’s Sukuna in a two-toned pink wig. Now, she’s taken her love of anime one step further by flying to Tokyo to present at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, and paying homage to not one but two different characters via her hairstyles.

First, Megan and her hairstylist Kellon Deryck channeled Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen in a long, icy silver-white wig with straight-across bangs that brushed the top of her black eye mask. (The character, a sorcerer, wears a similar mask, though he has short, cropped hair. Megan added a screenshot to the end of her carousel so you can see the inspo directly if you’re not familiar.) Her butt-length hair flowed all the way down past her hips, trailing behind her as she explored Tokyo. Later, she swapped the eye-obscuring mask for sunglasses and wore dark lip liner filled in with gloss. “THIS MIGHT ACTUALLY BE SATORU GOJO,” wrote a fan, and they’re not wrong.
